Dr Paul Hogg

Paul is a highly qualified and experienced dentist who creates a calm and relaxed environment for his patients.
He has trained with leading dental health and technology experts from the UK and overseas.
After qualifying from Cardiff Dental School in 2001, Paul started working in general practice in Falmouth. He then moved to practices in Camborne and Constantine.
In 2004, Paul came to Meneage Dental as an associate and became a partner in 2007.
He attends courses regularly to further enhance his knowledge and skill set. He gained a Certificate in Implantology from Warwick university in 2006, deepening his understanding of advanced dental implant work. The next year, he joined a Cosmetic and Restorative course run by a visiting professor of Louisiana State University.
In 2009, Paul completed a course in Occlusion (Disorders of the Bite) and trained in Facial Aesthetics in 2010.
In 2013, he completed a course in the Six Month Smiles adult braces system for teeth straightening. He has since helped many patients with this treatment, which is sought after throughout the UK.
In 2015, Paul travelled to Italy to receive training from one of Europe’s leading experts – Dr Lorenzo Vanini – in state-of-the-art Cosmetic Anterior Restorations.
Paul has particular interests in restoration of worn, broken and heavily filled teeth, fixing and securing loose dentures, and working with dental implants. For the latter, he studied a course in Advanced Implantology, which covered Full Arch Restoration using implants, Securing Loose Dentures, Replacement of Missing Teeth, and Bone Grafting procedures.
He is a qualified member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Away from work, Paul represents Cornwall at water polo and takes part in outdoor swimming events. In 2015, he completed the Dart 10k raising money for Diabetes research, and swam it again in 2016 to support research into spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).
